Terms of Use

By accessing the NextGen Omics, Biotechnology & Clinical Translation conference website, submitting an abstract, completing a registration form or attending the conference in any mode, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by the NOBCT 2026 Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site or register for the event.

• All registration and accommodation fees are listed and payable in U.S. Dollars (USD).
• We accept payment by credit / debit card via secure online payment platforms (including PayPal and Stripe) and by direct bank transfer.
• Any bank charges, currency-conversion costs or intermediary-bank fees are the responsibility of the registrant. The amount received by the secretariat must equal the published registration fee.
• Registration is confirmed only after the full fee has been received and reconciled. A confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued to the email address on file.
• Group, student, virtual and accompanying-person rates are subject to the eligibility criteria published on the registration page; the organizers reserve the right to request supporting documentation and to adjust the fee if eligibility cannot be verified.

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the NOBCT 2026 secretariat at omics.us@stemnetwork.net. Verbal cancellations cannot be processed.
• More than 90 Days Before Conference: Eligible for a refund of the registration fee less a USD 100 administrative processing fee.
• Within 90 Days of Conference Start: Registration is non-refundable. The registration may, however, be transferred either to a colleague (subject to written confirmation) or to a future edition of the conference, at the registrant's choice.
• Transfers are accepted up to the conference start date. Requests submitted after the start date cannot be honoured.
• Approved refunds are processed within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the conference, by the same payment channel used to register where possible.
• Accommodation fees follow the same window unless a stricter policy is imposed by the partner hotel; in that case the hotel policy prevails and is communicated at booking.

Note: The above cancellation and refund policy does not apply where the event is postponed, rescheduled, delivered virtually, or otherwise disrupted by circumstances beyond the organizers’ reasonable control (see §5 Force Majeure). In such cases all registration and accommodation fees are automatically transferred to the rescheduled date or to a future edition of the same or a related conference, and no monetary refund will be issued.

The organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to:

• Modify the program schedule, session topics, speakers, chairs or session formats
• Change the venue, host city or country
• Switch the mode of delivery from in-person to virtual or hybrid, or vice versa, where reasonably necessary
• Postpone or reschedule the conference to a different date within twelve (12) months of the original date

All material changes will be communicated to registered participants by email and posted on the conference website. It is the participant's responsibility to monitor the website and registered email address for updates.

The organizers shall not be liable for any failure to perform, delay, alteration, postponement or cancellation of the conference caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters — earthquake, flood, hurricane, severe storm, volcanic activity
• Fire, explosion or structural failure of the venue
• Epidemics, pandemics or other public-health emergencies and the response measures imposed by competent authorities
• Acts of war, terrorism, sabotage, civil unrest, riot or threats thereof
• Government regulations, travel restrictions, border closures, embargoes or denial of entry
• Industrial disputes, strikes, lock-outs or labour shortages
• Cyber-attacks, ransomware, IT system outages, hosting-provider failures
• Power, internet or telecommunication failures
• Any other event recognised in law as force majeure

In any such event, no refunds will be issued; all paid registration and accommodation fees will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled or a future edition of the same or a related conference. Travel and visa-related expenses incurred by the participant remain the participant's sole responsibility.

• Participants are solely responsible for arranging their own travel, travel insurance, medical insurance and accommodation, unless a specific package has been purchased through the conference.
• Suggested hotels are listed on the NOBCT 2026 website for convenience; the organizers receive no commission from these listings and accept no responsibility for any aspect of independently booked travel or hotels.
• Where a visa is required, the secretariat will issue a letter of invitation only after registration is paid in full. The participant is solely responsible for the visa application and its outcome. Visa denial is not grounds for a refund outside the cancellation policy in §3.
• The organizers are not liable for any financial loss, change fees or inconvenience caused by flight cancellations, hotel-booking changes or visa-processing delays.

NOBCT 2026 is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all attendees. Every participant must:

• Conduct themselves professionally and respect the dignity of others
• Refrain from any form of harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or unwelcome behaviour, whether based on gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, nationality or any other protected characteristic
• Comply with venue rules, health-and-safety instructions and the directions of conference staff

Violations may result in immediate removal from the event without refund and, in serious cases, referral to the relevant authorities and a bar from future NOBCT 2026 editions.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, software, design elements and the layout of the site — is the property of the NOBCT 2026 organising secretariat or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark and database laws. You may view, download and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Abstract authors retain copyright of their submitted material but grant NOBCT 2026 a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish, display, distribute and archive the abstract (and any accepted poster or presentation) in conference proceedings, on the website, and in promotional summaries of the meeting.

By attending NOBCT 2026 you agree that you may be photographed, filmed or audio-recorded by the organizers or their authorised media partners, and that those images and recordings may be used in conference publications, the website, social-media channels, marketing of future editions and post-event reports, without any compensation. If you do not wish to be included in such material, please notify the registration desk in writing before the conference begins and avoid identified photo zones at the venue.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the organizers, the host institution, and their respective officers, employees and agents accept no liability for:

• Any personal injury, illness, accident or death occurring at, en route to, or after the conference
• Loss, theft or damage to personal property at the venue, hotel or in transit
• Any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising out of cancellation, postponement, change of venue, change of programme or change of mode of delivery
• Statements made or opinions expressed by speakers, panellists, sponsors or other delegates — these are the views of the individual concerned and not of the organizers

Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption and personal effects.

Personal data collected during registration and through any other form on this site is processed in accordance with the NOBCT 2026 Privacy Policy. We never sell, rent or trade personal data. Data may be shared only with the processors listed in the Privacy Policy (payment processors, hosting providers, virtual-event platforms, hotel partner where applicable) and with competent authorities where required by law (for example, to issue visa-support letters or to comply with tax obligations).

The organizers may amend these Terms of Use from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting registered participants will be communicated by email. Continued use of the NextGen Omics, Biotechnology & Clinical Translation conference website or attendance at the conference after such notice constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
